After the RR vs. SRH game, the IPL 2023 points table was updated. Hyderabad moved out of last place

In a thrilling IPL 2023 match, Sunrisers Hyderabad upset Rajasthan Royals by four wickets to maintain their playoff aspirations.

In their IPL 2023 match at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, Abdul Samad smashed a six off the final delivery as SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) miraculously chased down 215 against Rajasthan Royals (RR). Glenn Phillips produced a cameo of 25 off just seven balls for SRH, who needed 44 from the final three overs, while Samad remained undefeated on 17 to lead SRH to victory. It's interesting to note that Samad was initially dismissed by Sandeep Sharma, who bowled the final over for RR, on the final ball of the game.

However, the replay showed that he overstepped, and handed Samad a golden opportunity, which the latter took it with both hands and struck a six over long-off.

IPL 2023 Points Table

Due to the loss, RR dropped to fourth place in the standings with 10 points from 11 games. SRH, on the other hand, rose from the bottom position to take up position nine. Only four of their first 11 games have they won.

Gujarat Titans, the incumbent champions, maintained their top spot earlier in the day with a commanding 56-run victory over Lucknow Super Giants, who were in third place. LSG has 11 points from an equal number of games as GT's 11, whereas GT has 14 points.

Orange Cap, Purple Cap

Faf du Plessis, the captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore, is still in first place on the Orange Cap list after 10 games. Mohammed Shamo, a GT pacer, is in first place on the Purple Cap list with 19 kills in 11 games.
